The answer is YES! This is BY FAR the best playmat I've ever encountered. I bought this item because I had to replce a high-end play mat we had, which got so deteriorated after 2 years. This one is better by far, the feel, the thickness, the look. Love it! Are you thinking and asking yourself if it's worth the money? I'll save you some time. . . . IT IS!

Absolute gamechanger! My baby absolutely loves this mat. Coincidence or not: exactly two weeks after it arrived, he started crawling and went through some major growth spurts. It seems like the perfect, safe space for him to practice his new skills!

The design is so nice, the delivery was fast and it is a very comfortable rug, so much so I've been doing yoga on it!! Haven't had a chance to try out with baby yet (due any day now) but thoroughly impressed.
