Really effective conference
As a vendor I found this to be one of the most effective Retail conferences I have attended. Great content, a size and format that inspire creativity and transparency, and the venue is the right size to encourage social/professional meetings with contacts I normally would have to spend a fortune in time or travel to engage. The only negative/constructive criticism (2 things): The opening social/happy hour was really disappointing. Impossible to hear or make first introductions, and the overlap with another event was just strange. Finally, the MC was really frustrating. Obviously poorly prepared, little to no valuable contribution to the content, and somehow tried to cover by seeming overly familiar or friendly, or just too busy to have paid attention. If you are going to have a dedicated MC they really should be much better vetted, and prepared.
