Future Stores

It was quite an investment to attend the show. Most of the presentations were very similar, and there were too many vendors for the number of retailers in attendance. It felt awkward to enter the innovation lounge as it was empty most of the time, and the vendors were over-anxious to speak to people. If this would have been a "free" show, I would have rated it higher, but do not feel the benefit was worth the time/cost.

Surface Level Content & Sales Pitches

I wanted so badly to be challenged and encouraged by people that are pushing the limits in the Retail CX Industry. Instead I got several 20 minute buzzword competitions and sales pitches by sponsors. If you're going to lean so heavy on sponsorship dollars, don't charge to get into the event. If you're going to have retailers speak, have them provide actual go-do's and content that is contextual.

Too high level

I did not feel that this was very actionable for my company and many of the presentations were very high level - what you could find out by reading online.

Sales Pitch

Most of the presentations were sales pitches or too surface level to be of value. Enjoyed Sugarfina, Sam’s Club, and the Lowe’s presentations. If there are going to be vendors accosting you at every turn, the event should be free.

Exremely Disappointing

We spent a great deal of time and money to attend this. The speakers, attendance and depth were all very weak. We had high hopes that did not get met. You should consider refunding those who attended. - Jay
