Feedback

Hi, the conference had highs and lows. The highs were fairly obvious...some of the speakers were very well prepared and engaging. Some of the lows...the breakout sessions on day 1 offered limited value, were a bit of a sales pitch, hard to hear each other and not super Value added dialogue. We also had significant AV issues. Finally, several speakers were unprepared and offered little value to the audience. Overall, I’d consider attending again as long as some of these challengers are addressed.

Nice event, could be better

Nice event- had some good conversations. Glad I went. Few feedback points: - Event was a bit too small ( i like intimate, but this would have benefited by doubling). The same speakers were on stage multiple times- not so interesting. - The main presenter representing the conference (a bigger man) made a lot of gendered and offensive comments. He mentioned strippers (!?!), weird intro for me when i was walking up to stage about lingerie, questions 2x about the differences between men and women.... not cool. It's 2018 people.

Miami event

I enjoyed the event. A few points of feedback: Venue was cold (air con). Round table discussion (groups too big, couldnt hear what others were saying). Supplier stands - limited variety and thought these would be rotated across the 3 days. Could have introduced everyone at the start as a quick win so everyone got a shout out. I sat in the back corner and the facilitators we talking loudly throughout many of the presentations which was distracting. Store tours - across luxury brands - wasn't that engaging or exciting as it was just like shopping in a high end location - we should have seen retailers with something interesting to see.

Was expecting a bigger event

I know this was the first time Future Stores came to Miami, but I would have liked to see more vendor booths at the event. IMO, half of the speakers were engaging and exciting. Would have liked to see more variety for speakers chosen. Saw the same people on stage 2-3 times.

Disappointing show

From a vendor perspective, it seemed like folks weren't too keen on engaging with the sponsors and supporters of the show. The individuals that did stop by were not the right decision makers and we've gotten nothing from the event. We did try to meet with a few strategic folks that seemingly avoided us like the plague, and not being able to attend the store walks or networking events as a vendor (despite only having about 13 vendors in the exhibit hall) was not helpful.
