I had high hopes for
I had high hopes for Tempdrop, but unfortunately, it has not lived up to its promise, especially considering the price tag. While the concept is great, the product has many flaws that make it frustrating to use daily.
First, the app presents numerous inconsistencies. On several occasions, I’ve been unable to record my temperature because the Tempdrop device doesn’t connect to the app, despite repeated attempts. Other times, the app tells me that the temperature for the day has already been recorded, but no data appears in the app. There are also instances where the device takes an unusually long time to sync with my phone, which makes the daily routine unnecessarily tedious.
Even after following all the tips provided by their technical support team, there has been little to no improvement. The responses I’ve received have largely consisted of apologies and basic advice, but the core issues remain unresolved.
Moreover, for the high cost of the Tempdrop bracelet, I was disappointed to find that the app isn’t included in the purchase. I believe that given the price, they should at least offer a trial period for the app instead of requiring users to pay separately right from the start.
In summary, while Tempdrop had the potential to be a game changer, the unreliability of the app and the lack of real support make it a product I can’t recommend—especially for the price.
