An excellent product. I practice freediving, but I had surgery on my left ear nine years ago—a tympanoplasty. I used to use vented earplugs for freediving, but water would always get in. I was heading to Okinawa for a vacation and read about SurfEars. On top of that, I had recently suffered from an ear canal infection and wasn't sure how I’d manage freediving during the trip. I ordered SurfEars 4. 0, curious to see how they’d perform. They saved my seaside vacation. Not only do they keep water out, but equalizing ear pressure is actually easier. The technology is simply mind-blowing. I recommend them to anyone with similar issues. I’ve tested them down to 12 meters so far, and there was no water in my ears. I don't regret the purchase at all and plan to order a spare pair just in case I lose them. Just one thing to note: you can hear absolutely everything underwater, which can be pretty spooky at times.
