Having burst my ear drums years ago, and they never quite healed closed again, I've always had trouble putting my head underwater without getting water in my ear canals. With these, I can now swim normally again, as well as some ducking under water (I'm yet to try at any real depth). It's such a relief to be able to enjoy swimming once again, for the first time in decades.

I will never be in the water without them! Better than any other earplugs I’ve tried. I swim 4/5 days a week at the pools , occasionally in the lake or Baja California it’s good to be able to hear while in open water.

My left ear is about 95% closed due to exostoses, and before using SurfEars I was constantly getting water trapped after surfing. Since getting them—and while I’m waiting for surgery—I’ve been able to get back in the water without worrying about that happening. They seal my ears really well but still let me hear clearly in the lineup. The fit is great, they’re comfortable to wear for long sessions, and the lanyard gives me peace of mind that I won’t lose them in the water. After surgery, I’ll definitely be wearing these religiously.
