Good drinks, good music, and awesome people!

The wine tasting and dinner in Chianti was truly magical! There was about 18-20 people on the tour with us and we first stopped at the Villa Calcinaia property which was absolutely breathtaking. The quintessential picture of Tuscany with rolling hills, vineyards, and beautiful views. We got a tour of the winery production area and walked the property a bit, then tasted their wines alongside some small bites. After, we made a short stop in the Greve in Chianti square for some meandering, then drove to the last stop - Poggio Ai Laghi. There, we got a taste of bubbly and explanation of balsamic vinegar production, then we went into the vineyards for our dinner which was beautiful. We tasted at least 5 red wines with dinner and the food was delicious! This was the perfect evening trip from Florence since we didn’t have a car to explore the countryside.

Johnny Cage was a super entertaining tour guide! He made the day really fun with lots of sound clips to upgrade his jokes. There were lots of great stops, but be aware that the lunch place is cash only as well as the fruit stand we stopped at. Everywhere else took card. One downside is that the “snorkeling” spot we stopped at has lots of bacteria in the water so it is not recommended to swim in. We still saw lots of turtles though! The bus was in decent quality and had working AC. Overall, would recommend this tour.

Spur got our experience all set up for us! All we had to do was show up and enjoy it!

The day was perfect and the crew was fantastic. It was my husband’s first time snorkeling and he loved it. Would definitely recommend.
