Hi Steve Received the cable today. I want to thank you so very much, you have brought my beolab3 speakers to life again, I never thought that I could use them without the DVD system. I connected your cable to my Android tv box which just so happened to have an optical audio out/3.5mm combo jack. I followed your youtube tutorial which mentioned to switch to LINE. I was pleasantly surprised that the speaker light turned green and auto powered on, moreover, the volume control worked flawlessly from the Android Tv remote control. The speaker also powers down when I turn the android tv box off. I now can output audio to the TV speakers as well as through the beolab simultaneously, I can reduce the TV volume to zero which makes the beolab3 sound just as it was intended. Thanks again. Rishi
