I purchased as Arioso 3/4 double bass and it had a manufacturing fault where the fingerboard had too much scoop (relief) in it. Mel had recut the bridge to lower the action but it was unsatisfactory because of the amount of scoop in the fingerboard. I took the bass back for it to be reworked. Michael and Mel (luthier) were so obliging and were happy to do the extra work at their expense without hesitation. This is a great example of good old customer service, rarely seen.
