This dress is perfect for travel! It is comfortable, packs well without wrinkling and it absolutely gorgeous. Several people at the wedding we attended asked from where I purchased it. . . look forward to when I can where it again. Dress does run a little small. I usually am a size 4 (ordered a 6 just to be safe and could have probably worn an 8).
