I order the ramp for my year old mother who lost half her sight due to a stroke. As a consequence she cannot judge the depth of her footstep when the leading foot is lower than her back foot . I ordered a ramp higher than the top of the brick in front of the door because I knew that I could in fill the gap with a board cut to size .The product being 110c, wide meant that it was wide than the door making wings unnecessary.The edge of the ramp about 15mm allowed for a mat to be place in front of it . For our application the gradient did not need to handle a wheelchair. Mum commented on the softness under foot and the anti slip top surface Philip
