Loved the targeted and relevant context as well as the interactive roundtable approach. The breaks were a bit too long for a venue/conference of this size.

The conference provided relevant information from knowledgeable peers. I enjoyed the panel discussions, presentations and case studies. The conference gave me information I could use right away. The app was great and better than something to carry. The hotel was clean and accommodating. Recommendations: 1. Have two segments, a break, then two segments, then lunch, and so on. 2. Taste the food the hotel or venue is going to serve before booking. The food the hotel served for lunch was terrible. The Palms restaurant food was delicious. 3. Seating was a bit of a challenge. I understand there were a lot of late registrations, but seating should have been addressed at that point. 4. It would have been nice to have something to put supplier information sheets, brochures & giveaways in. Either order an inexpensive tote bag (disposable or reusable depending on budget) OR have supplier(s) co-sponsor and apply logos.

Dir Sales

Much improved over last year. Suggestions for other venues in more central part of the country. Also, meeting space to have adhoc meetings is necessary. The Westin was limited in the common areas with furniture and other sitting areas. Theirs was limited to the lobby and not around the meeting areas.

Overall, the event was very good and well run and managed. Some of the speakers were more interesting/applicable than the others. The breakout sessions were good - some had good leaders, some not so much so. Same for the panels - some of them seemed to garner good audience participation, others seemed a bit off-target. I would gladly offer to be a panel member or guest speaker on the topic of controlling, cutting, managing and driving spend away from tail spend suppliers, as I believe this is a very hot topic. After one of the round table discussions, several folks came up and asked me how we were able to do what we (Phillips 66) is doing to manage our tail spend so well. Thanks. John Bevil

Great event. Couple of improvements

Great event. Couple of improvements could be made. Sessions got behind schedule and I ended up missing many that I wanted to be at. Much of the topics were grazing the surface and not much detail (I assume it was bc the speakers didn't want to get to far into their organization). Would have been awesome to have the slides day one so we could make notes and see content ahead of time so we could better plan which sessions we would want to be at. Planning on attending next year.
