An aggressive disinterest in helping
The first problem is that, if something fails, there's no guarantee that you're talking to the right person or even company. The first time we asked to schedule the annual maintenance we pay for, I was instructed to send a video of what was wrong. When I explained that wasn't the point, I was told there was nothing they could do. Fast forward 8 months and the tablet stops working. I reach out for service. Oh, you need to talk to ifit (separate division; they apparently don't share any information so you need to contact a different office). Ok, fine. They say it's an internet problem; I explain that it's not because every other device in the house works fine; they say their tablet (presumably because it's old and cheap) gets confused if you can't separate 2.4g and 5g from the router (Google home can't). Any questions I ask about how anyone could know that or a way I might workaround it are met with "this is an internet problem so we can't help".
All in all, it's a company that clearly has only limited interest in supporting the product, even after selling you the extended warranty, and when it does do something they're not going to make it easy for you. It took about 8 emails and 5 calls over 4 days to get our annual maintenance scheduled. He was fine, so they get 2 stars, though he told us to unplug the machine after every use or it'll blow the transformer in it, which means you'd have to log back in literally every day. So I guess we can look forward to that failing soon.
Good machine; horrible company.
