I have been a Private White V. C. customer for several years and have gradually built up quite an extensive collection, including the Bridge Coat, Flight Jacket 3. 0, Ventile Harrington, two Moleskin Bombers, knitwear and other pieces – most recently the Submariner Parka. What keeps me coming back is the combination of exceptional British craftsmanship and genuinely excellent customer service. I particularly appreciate that the clothes are made in Manchester and are designed to last rather than simply follow a season. I have also experienced the lifetime repair service first-hand, having sent my Flight Jacket back to Manchester for a replacement zip. That kind of commitment to a garment long after the original purchase is increasingly rare and says a great deal about the company. The Submariner Parka was certainly an expensive purchase, but knowing the quality of the pieces I already own, and knowing that Private White stands behind its products for the long term, made the decision much easier. Excellent products, excellent service and a company I am very happy to continue supporting from Sweden. Five stars.

I came across this coat while google searching a waxed canvas jacket. Did not care for the styling of the Barbour jackets and I am really glad I paid the extra cash for this one. It is beautifully made and very stylish.
