I used this center in one of our Jet Lathes to turn some acrylic handles. The additional incremental supports helped protect the acrylic ends from breaking out at high speeds. Works great for small wood blanks as well.

The first shipment was sent through USPS and arrived at the nearby distribution center according to the tracking information. However, after two weeks pasted by and I hadn't received my order I contacted Penn State and they sent me another buffing system. This time they shipped the package using UPS. Had my buffing system in about four days. Can't complain about the service at Penn State.
