I've been turning for a long time . . . and turned earlier editions of the Gatsby (as well as Sierra and Manhattan pens, similar to the Gatsby). This this edition is great! Using the finial to extend point for writing is excellent! It eliminates accidentally unscrewing the pen when only wanting to retract the point (for the most part). Putting the finial in place as the last step eliminates potential problems that arise when the clip and cap are one piece. I'll be turning more of these . . . great pen!
