NGPX Conference
You almost lost me on the first half of day 1 when all I was hearing was vendor presentations. We heard their spiels in the booths but were repeated on the presentations. I expected more evidence-based presentations from health care systems and hospitals from the very first day. The Tracks were good and I learned more on attending the tracks than the general sessions. The room set-up for the general sessions were not conducive to writing as there were no tables and it did not allow for more networking. There should be more round-table discussions because there were some participants who have done some initiatives and we can learn from them. The hotel was not a good place to stay - on my first morning, there was no hot water despite waiting for many minutes. The hallway and lobby in Valencia smelled like nursing home. I loved Nason group and the Yes workshop because it allowed hands-on experience in identifying our problems and what we need to work on. I would suggest more outside activities as well. I wonder if the presentations will be sent to the participants because there were no binders/hand-outs on the presentation or even just the conference agenda/schedule.
