Background: Upgraded from a 4 year old paddletek which at the time was top of the game when I got it. I’ve been using for two weeks. Amazed at the power and accuracy I can get on serves and equally blown away by the feel and control while dinking. The sound is incredible (or lack there of). I could see this becoming industry standard. Another perk I didnt expect , is my shoulder and arm joints hurt a lot less. Must be from less vibration up the arm. I found owl through another player in my league and he smoked me with it. When I got home I ordered one and have not been disappointed. I just need to get a case for it

Talon X1 was built to address several criticisms people had about older OWL models like the CX/CXE (especially the small sweet spot and balance characteristics). Early impressions suggest it does improve in those areas, but because it’s a newer paddle with fewer independent user reviews out there yet, some aspects like maneuverability and edge consistency are still being validated by the community. And i love it

Super fast delivery, quality product. Solid construction, much more POP than any Owl product I have owned in the past! I replace the PXE with the Talon and I am very happy with the performance. I was really starting to burn the faces off quickly with the PXE model but so far I have played quite a bit with the Talon X-1 and there is no sign of wear at all! I play at a brand new facility and the floors are very aggressive which chews up the ball pretty good but the hitting surfaces still look amazing! If I was to say there was one thing that would have made the Talon X-1 perfect would be the same handle shape as the PXE. The Talon has a very round handle, the PXE was more like a Table Tennis paddle (flared/Oval) which really helps me with the forehand and backhand roll shots. Just love the upgrade as it was substantial! Keep up the good work, I love my quiet Paddles, competition hates them!
