I’ve been playing pickleball for about 3 years, and the OWL Silent Storm was my first experience with an OWL paddle. Honestly, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The first thing that caught my attention was the quietness. The paddle produces very little sound, but don’t let that fool you — the ball still comes off the paddle with surprisingly good power. What I really appreciate is the balance between power, control and defense. The paddle gives me enough power when I want to attack, while still giving me the control and soft touch I need for drops, resets and defensive shots. For me, it performs far beyond what I expected at its price point. After playing with it, I started to understand why OWL paddles are getting attention. It feels like OWL is focusing not just on power, but on creating a paddle that can actually help players play a more complete game. The Silent Storm has definitely given me a very positive first impression of OWL. And honestly, I would love the opportunity to try some of the other OWL paddles and experience what they can offer. I’m not a professional player — just a passionate pickleball player who has been on the court for the past 3 years. But when a paddle genuinely makes you enjoy the game more, I think that’s worth sharing. Thank you, OWL, for creating a paddle that really impressed me. I hope I’ll have the chance to experience more of the OWL family in the future.

Solid sweet spot with good touch on dinks and enough pop for drives. Balanced weight, comfy grip, no wrist fatigue even after long sessions. Recommend it.

Easy to use and great for deception shots. Power is activated making drops second nature. Opponents cannot tell what is coming and what is not. Spin is effortless adding another dimension of treachery at the flick of the paddle. The points called in my favor is louder than the Talon hitting the ball. Absolutely love it.

love the look and feel of the paddle. the sound dampening catches people off guard when it comes to reaction timing based on sound.
