I attended the parfume masterclass
I attended the parfume masterclass . I really enjoyed making my own parfume and smelling all the different scents. The only thing that I didn't like was that I felt very rushed the whole time, as soon as I smelled one scent, the assisstant was standing over me with a dropper with another one. There were 35 scents and you had to smell each one as well as decide if you liked it, write the name of it and put it in the correct pile. Being rushed to do this I got a headache in the middle of this process because I was smelling so many different scents. Also, one of the assisstants was quite rude to me when I wanted to try 2 scents again from the beginning which were very light and had lost their aroma by the end. I was also expecting to learn more about the art of parfume making (e.g. how the scents are created, if there is any history of parume making in Bali etc.) but all I got were instructions on how to make the parfume which I didn't catch anyway because they were said too quickly for me to understand. All in all, nice experience and I love my new parfume but I would appreciate not being so rushed and having a more relaxed educational experience even if it meant paying more for a longer workshop.
