I really wanted to love
I really wanted to love Numilk, especially after seeing it on Shark Tank and hearing about their plans to roll out non-commercial machines. I had high expectations for something premium, but unfortunately, the machine itself was a letdown.
The biggest issue is the noise. It’s incredibly loud, much louder than expected, and honestly, I couldn’t understand why it needs to be that unnecessarily loud for what it does, but the other reviews were right. It feels excessive and makes the whole experience less enjoyable.
Build quality was another disappointment. The machine feels bulky and made of cheap plastic, and even the bottles are plastic, which didn’t match the premium image I had in mind. Overall, it just doesn’t feel well-crafted, more like something that came straight out of a 3D printer than a polished consumer product.
What really surprised me is that you can basically achieve the same result using a regular blender at a normal noise level. That made it hard to justify the machine at all.
That said, the one bright spot, and the reason this isn’t a lower rating, is the milk itself. The flavors are genuinely excellent. I tried the Golden Milk, Pistachio, and Latte, and all of them were incredible. The taste is absolutely there.
So overall: great product concept and amazing flavors, but the machine itself needs a lot of improvement. That’s why I’m landing at 3 stars.
