I love this black. I find a translucency in the IvoryBlack that makes it a great candidate for mixing and also for glazing. I've used it for faux finishing and for trompe-l'oeil painting. Carbon Black is the blackest black I've ever encountered and is powerfully opaque but the Ivory Black is a delicate black.
