My recent purchases of Violet Grey Lalvarit pigment and Impasto putty - the purple grey is absolutely beautiful, a possible underpainting color and a glazing colour (its quite transparent) and as a tint for adding to grey down colour. I can see it will be very useful in my arsenal. I have not had a chance to yet to really explore it nor the impasto medium though I did add that to my lead white which I make up myself and already am very pleased with its qualities of putting some punch into the highlights. Both I will definitely be exploring. I love that George and Tatiana are continually hunting for new and excellent products to expand our possibilities as painters -cheers to both of you and a big thankyou!
