I have a student who painted a picture seven years ago using Strasbourg Turpentine for a final varnish and it has yellowed considerably. Is there a solvent that can be used to remove this varnish without seriously degrading the painting underneath? Alcohol is too strong. Turpentine is not strong enough. There must be something that would do the job. I'm sure you are the best people to address this dilemma. Thanks. Frank Dale
