After explaining that I was looking for a way to give my oils more body and the finished painting more gloss, the helpful woman at NP suggested that I try a mixture of refined linseed oil and the thicker kettle linseed oil. The texture of Oleogel allows control of paint transparency without affecting the saturation of color. It's a great addition to my palette!
