For what I do (mortar
For what I do (mortar base for paver edging) I was hoping the MudMixer was an answer to the messy barrel mixer I have been using for years. However, what I found out is that the MudMixer needs to be constantly fed and dumped and not stopped, or if you do stop, you have to clean it all out so it doesn’t set in the machine. It’s tough to keep going when you pour a line of mortar and then have to set the line of pavers, then go back to more mortar, then set those pavers. It will take more laborers to do that than mix a barrel, dump it out, set the pavers, mix another barrel, etc. So now I have invested a lot of money in a machine that is sitting idle. I’m not so happy.
Anyone interested in a once used MudMixer? I need to sell it.
