I bought this for pouring my deck piers, and other jobs in the future. It keeps pumping out quality mud as long as you keep the hopper full. I made the mistake a couple of times in not standing next to the machine and keeping the hopper full. I thought I could cut some rebar, grab more bags of sakcrete from the trailer, or other tasks while it was mixing. Similar to what I would do with a conventional drum mixer. THAT WAS A MISTAKE. It chews through the bags in the hopper before you know it. You need to stage EVERYTHING before you turn the machine on. Then your whole job is feeding bags into the machine and moving it as needed. The FORWARD/REVERSE (On/Off) switch can not me emphasised enough in pouring piers. I can click the button on for a couple seconds, get a little mud dropped in the pier, then smooth it out. If I need a little more, hit that button for another couple seconds, then smooth that out. I can top off a pier perfectly, with no waste, before moving to the next one.

I a custom home builder and do light commercial work. I saw this about a year ago thought it was cool but wouldn’t work for our application and amount of work we do. We had a couple tight projects couldn’t get trucks and equipment in. We used bag product and bought this mixer. My guys love it. I should have bought one when it first came out. I made one adjustment. We adapted the handle to be removable for Shop storage and truck bed space.

Everything about this product and company is amazing. Will be using the mud mixer for life. Wish I had one 18 years ago when I started out in concrete
