haven't tried yet, I have 50 gallon heavy plastic barrels, but hard water deposits on sides of inside of drum. I've been told to use chlorox, but big differences in amount of chlorox. Do you have any suggestions to keep water free of hard water deposits, I think these white particles are from hard water in our area! do you recommend something else?
