I bought three candles and have had them for about two weeks now. PRO: I love that these candles are clean burning / non-toxic. And the scent formulations are very nice. CON: The scent profiles are very weak while burning. But also, the biggest down side to the Slow North candles, for me, is that when I extinguish them, the afterburn smell is awful - and this smell is *strong* - it smells like a drunk person has vomited. This could be mitigated if there candle jars had lids, be ones I bought do not.

I was very excited to find non-toxic candles, bought two 8 oz in glass container, one Rosemary Mint, the other Orange and Clove. I started with the Rosemary, which I’ve burned several times, and it has not left a scent in our small condo. It may as well have been unscented. My husband did not even notice a scent. Very disappointed. I am hoping for better results with the Orange and Clove. Fyi, I seldom write negative reviews but my expectations were high and I feel let down.

the candles are made of soy wax, and don’t last long. that is not clear when you purchase them. the eye-mask ( for headaches) is soft and is good for a very short time. Good for relaxation, not good for headaches. As much I would like to support this business, I won’t be purchasing from them again. The products don’t meet my needs.

They smell lovely, but their burn time is quite short unfortunately.
