I’ve been getting the mala of the month since the beginning (almost a year!) and I absolutely love them. I love the variety in color, length, and even tassels. This past month might be my favorite one yet since I love wearing chokers as my normal jewelry. I’m not much for using them for mediation, but I do wear them as a reminder of my intentions. I get loads of compliments for them and I feel more confident about reaching my goals and intentions when I wear them. Let me try to keep this review realistic: I’m not as big of a fan for the bracelets as I work at a computer for my job and they can get in the way. There’s been a couple where the beads were a bit bigger and so the mala came together and it wears much longer than I’d expected (picture the guru bead down lower than your belly button). These kits also use to come with a few extra beads in case you lost one in making and with bead thread cut already for the right length and now it’s seems more standard like it’s the same packaging you get from Michaels. I do like the reduction of packaging materials, I don’t mind that these now come in a small little box with everything tucked in a bag intended to store your mala in afterwards. Overall I can’t see myself walking away from this subscription anytime soon. You can feel the love and dedication the company puts into their products and I love feeling good about supporting them through the mala of the month club!

As a homeschooling mom and Reiki practitioner, I stay busy. I look forward to the Mala of the Month kit. This is a craft I do not have to plan and it allows to be slow down. It takes me about 3 hours to complete. These 3 hours I am one with my thoughts and I am setting intentions with each bead. Once I am finished, I have a new tool to use to help me stay grounded and centered. I am grateful for this mindful option. :)
