Issues with Pre-Ordered Dates Changing
I pre-ordered the flamingo linen shirt with the understanding that it wouldn’t be delivered immediately. When I placed the order in June, the shirt’s webpage indicated that I could expect delivery during the week of July 4th. However, as that week approached, the estimated delivery date changed—and then it changed again. Eventually, the date disappeared entirely. As a customer eagerly waiting for my order, it felt like the shirt might never arrive because the delivery date kept shifting.
After waiting for two months, I found myself disappointed by how long it took, especially after expecting a much shorter wait. I believe this frustration could have been avoided if the estimated delivery date on the product page had been more realistic or even left more open-ended. Setting an expectation that the item would arrive in two weeks, only to then extend the wait by over two months, led to significant disappointment.
It seemed as though MAVRANS wasn’t clear on when the shirt would actually ship. While I understand delays can happen, constantly changing the expected delivery date made it feel uncertain whether I’d ever receive the item. In the future, providing a more accurate or flexible shipping estimate would help prevent customers like myself from feeling frustrated and uncertain about their orders.
