Although I’m a I regular Pussers drinker, this is first time I’ve tried overproof of any kind. I must say it didn’t sit well with me…just too strong…but that isn’t a review of the rum, it’s an admission of my temperament. The rum itself is utterly delightful. The rich and deep aroma of Pussers is there in full. The flavour is the usual treacle and raisins with so much more depth. As I say, I haven’t drunk overproof before so I can’t properly make a comparison, but surely this is a rum of very high quality. If overproof is what you want, you must try this one. t has the usual rich and smooth Pussers aroma. Treacle and raisins.
