So far, everything has been clearly explained.

This was as easy as it could be. We sent Kodak some 1,000 old family photos to be digitized. Every step of the way, Kodak was very communicative. When I had a question, their customer service was fast and efficient. And I got all my digitized photos back in 6 weeks. Great experience. (Only suggestion is to let folks know that you also digitize the back of photos. I would have declined, since few of ours had information on the back. )

Very straightforward and easy process. It does take some time (~2 mos), but that was fine as we just wanted to digitize slides and a VHS tape from among our parents things.
