I ordered me a new Fire Control Board, and I’ll be honest
I ordered me a new Fire Control Board, and I’ll be honest, I weren’t too sure they even had it. Far as I knew, that thing been off the market near ’bout 10 years now, so I was kinda ready for whatever. Next day they wrote back sayin it ain’t in stock, and yeah, that set me back a bit.
But then they told me they got a replacin’ board for it. Didn’t make much sense to me at first, ’cause the official supplier told me straight up there’s no replacement, and their website say the same thing — no stock, no alt part, nuthin.
IQElectro folks explained it real simple: this other board ain’t from the main supplier, but it’s built same way, same specs, should run fine on my old system. They told me it’d work, and I just chose to trust ’em.
Well, I got that replacin’ part, put it in, and it’s been runnin’ a full month now without a single hitch.
I gotta say, y’all really know your stuff. These old parts can be a real headache, but you fellas sure understand ’em. Big thanks to ya
