Overall enjoying these shoes, I bought them for 50% off but I don't think I'd have been happy paying full price. Mine came with a small stain (oil maybe?) that would have made me return or exchange them if I'd paid full price and didn't habitually spill things on my own feet, but not a deal breaker for me. They look good and are a really nice fit, very comfortable with decent ankle support. They are lightweight, but they're not as breathable as they look like they'd be, nor are they particularly waterproof for being so air-proof. The treads are surprisingly slippery on wet pavement and slate as well. The photos all show the end of the laces disappearing behind the tongue, you will have to knot them on the front with a standard amount of lace hanging out on the front. The lacing itself I find incredibly counter-intuitive, I have yet to re-lace them the other way as I do with most shoes, but the thing is you have to pull every other lace in the opposite direction so it will still take some muscle memory. I was hoping I'd be able to put them on without having to loosen 3 or 4 laces but that's not the case. For a shoe with so many fabric loops for laces, I would have expected them to put a loop on the top of the heel to help you pull them on, but there's nothing there so you have to undo quite a bit of confusing trussing to get them on. I was on the fence about returning them but I was wearing them when I went to visit my mom and she told me I looked handsome so here we go.

I'm surprised based on the fact this was a curiosity click / compulsive buy after looking at an add. Good fit, good appearance, they haven't fallen apart. Worth the buy.
