Overall I was pleased with the conference. As always with these shows the challenge is getting the attendees to spend as much time as possible with the exhibitors. I like it when shows allow a little time in front of the collected group during the opening discussion. Just a short, 2 minute presentation on who we are and what we do. That way we are able to "connect" with those who are uncomfortable talking with vendors directly.

Great week of learning and networking with a variety of retailers who are in various stages of business and people challenges, but all share the commitment and passion for the people and organizations they support.

I was very excited to be amongst Senior HR Leaders from multiple disciplines and companies at the HR Retail conference. I enjoyed hearing many of their success stories as well as learning moments. Turns out we are all in the same boat and struggling with many of the same issues. I only wish there was more time to dig in as there were so many great topics!

Thought the app was a great thing to have at the conference, it made the experience for me. Wish more had been done to drive adoption of the app by attendees, however...only about half the folks appeared to be active on it. Driving more participation from the staff would have been helpful. Topics were great, and so was the venue.

The event's logistics were a little unorganized the first morning, but overall they did a good job. As a vendor without a booth, it was not a very valuable experience because there wasn't a lot of time to network. Most of the days consisted of lectures (which were valuable) but there was not much time to speak with folks about products. I wouldn't go back again as a vendor.
