In practice I can only do about 6.5 oz green, wet processed. Less with dry processed. That yields about 5 oz. This should really be called a 1/4 lb roaster. Roasting a larger mass requires far more heat, and you won't get that in a 110v powered fluid bed roaster, ever. You have to watch over the machine and constantly adjust the fan with the speed knob, or you get baked beans. There's not even a basic profile that adjusts fan speed. The chaff collector is poorly designed. Chaff drops back into the roasting chamber at the end of the roast. The chaff collector is solid plastic, 2 pieces, and often comes apart at the worst moment - chaff everywhere. It's made in China and the plastic smells bad. It seems like it would be simple to make parts twist-lock together, but they don't, so all the pieces just fall apart if you're not careful.
