On Jan. 18 I received
On Jan. 18 I received a notice that you could not auto-renew my Premium membership. It was because I'd been issued a new CC number due to a breach. I went into my account and tried to update my payment info, but it was confusing (and I have been a software tech writer, so I know bad user design). It appeared that I eventually updated my existing membership but also started another one.
I sent the following text to your customer support team, and they never responded. I'd like resolution.
"I've been a Prevention Premium customer for a long time - maybe from the beginning. I've subscribed to Prevention for decades. I just got an email saying that my membership renewal could not happen because my CC was declined. That CC was compromised and replaced during the past year, and I used the link in the email (http://l. e-mail. hearstmags. com/rts/go2. aspx?h=1105166&tp=i-1NGB-Be-10HZ-SdIzg-27-27lg-1c-K8HsI-lBNfGDpLlp-zl7jO&pi=QHZBJfT9Y0Cjrf_GBwcl1w6SE2noNNy4i_343G5ESyI&x=i-1NGB-Be-10HZ-SdIzg-27-27lg-1c-K8HsI-lBNfGDpLlp-zl7jO&hp2=1481d19f3e0526af95521b122f906dbe23249e4e6320b1a18e0e70a58f6a88e7) to change it.
I signed in to my Premium account on the page that opened (https://membership. prevention. com/prevention-plus-premium-1. html?cds_tracking_code=custservrejoin&utm_campaign=custservrejoin&utm_medium=ccfailure&utm_source=customer_service&source=Engage), and then went to my account, but there was no way to change my payment method. I tried a number of things, but it seemed that I had to use the link on the page that opened to pay for the subscription at $50. I had to pay through PayPal or Google, and I chose Google. Now I have a second subscription under Tricia Luke; my original is under Patricia Luke.
When I go back to my Patricia Luke account, I see 2 orders from today. One is $37. 71 for renewal on the original account, and the other is for 53. 88 for the "new" order.
Please cancel the new order under Tricia Luke and refund that amount. It appears that I somehow successfully renewed my original subscription. I certainly don't need 2. "
