Maybe you have the best product in the world but why should I have to listen to your political horse pucky.

I HAVE HAD THE BROWN LEATHER SHOES FOR A MONTH NOW AND I NO LONGER WEAR . TERRIBLE PAIN WITH THE TOUNGE ON TOP OF FOOT.

Although I could write an extensive explanation....I'll try to condense. It is with much disappointment that I'm severing ties with your company. I absolutely love the product...and the business model. I extolled the virtues of Greats to everyone I know. Then you had to go and inject your political views and force them on me via a direct email....not a mission statement on your website for me to look at if I chose to. You decided that you needed me to listen to your stand whether I wanted to hear it or not. You are not alone by any measure. And while with some companies I might be hamstrung so to speak in still basically having to use their product...a shoe company I do not. Obviously you're intelligent enough to realize that at least a percentage of your customers won't agree with your views. But like so many others who have a platform in today's world you've decided that telling me what my view should be publicly is more important than simply supporting the positions you have without fanfare. Frankly I'm tired of being told by everyone who think they are more intelligent and therefore obviously correct in their position that I need to fall in line with them. So disappointed.....you likely had more than just a lifelong customer...you had an advocate for your product and business. And now you don't....and while it would be logical to think that I'm no longer one because we don't agree politically...that's simply not true....the fact is I just want you make shoes...support whomever and whatever you want....it's your money do with it what you will....but quit telling me what I need to support. I loved my greats royales when I bought my first pair several months ago. So much so that I bought 2 more pair and told everyone about these great shoes. I don't care what your politics are but when you make your business about your politics, I'm out. Time to find another shoe company.
