I needed some metal base plates for a project that entailed placement of several LED light bars on vertical poles. I needed the setup to be movable rather than fixed. I had all the parts, except for base plates to hold the poles upright. This needed to be a sturdy construct, to be weighted down by 10 lb sandbags. The Georgiaexpo base plates were of a size and weight that was manageable, while heavy enough to ensure the stability I required.
