I purchased a pair of rain paints prior to going to Ireland/Scotland. The one day it rained I wore the paints and unfortunately by the end of the round my legs were slightly moist. I was a little disappointed however it rained very hard for 9 holes. When I returned, I had an occasion to wear them again and the same thing happened. I reached out to customer service and there were extremely helpful and accommodating. They sent out a new pair without a problem. I have not had an occasion to try them but am confident they will be fine. I have several pieces of their outer wear and have found them to be fantastic.
