Overall conference review
Overall there was good content; however, the couch sessions were a bit too much. I found most of it irrelevant and at best redundant from speaker to speaker, outside of the Columbia Bank presentation as they were very enthusiastic and didn't even sit on the couch. Also, some of the sessions were sales pitches even though they were somewhat masked. It would have been great to have more inspirational speakers to break up the monotony of the couch sessions as sitting for long periods of time without excitement was difficult.
There were not a lot of options for water; one of the fountains didn't work for the first day. I found it interesting that on the last day for lunch there was bottled water but not any throughout the conference.
I found the breakout sessions where we met with the vendors was worthwhile, we just needed to have more space between the tables as it was difficult to hear at times. The speed networking was also great except we were too close together and hard to hear.
