Very quiet and running time great. They are light weight and feel comfortable in your hand. Only problem I have is doing my boys feet ( have a standard poodle) due to blade width and shape . Would be great if there was a blade for their feet . Will have to see how they go as clipping poodle ever 6 to 8 weeks
