Great pack with a marked down price! I debated adding a shoulder strap (I did) and a rain cover (gave up on getting back to it at the end) but had some problems going back to shopping after viewing my cart. Other than that problem, all was great.

Overall, a great carry-on for light travel, 2-3 day max, in my opinion. I would add more depth to the main compartment (bottom) and take it away from the mesh compartment (top) to maintain the overall original specs. A small extra compartment on top for the quart-size bag for gels and liquids that needs to be quickly pulled out for TSA security inspection would be nice. I wouldn't recommend it for business travel unless you plan to spend some good time ironing after your flight. The luggage opening concept is great. The laptop compartment is fabulous. Again, overall a great carry-on bag for light, non-business travel.

Overall, a really great travel backpack! It is on the more pricier side compared to other comparable travel backpacks, but you get what you pay for great design. The one thing that kept me from giving it a full 5 star rating is that the bag came with some manufacturing defects. I didn’t notice them until I was travelling and contacted Tortuga shortly after I came back from my trip. The customer service team were extremely helpful and prompt with getting me a replacement bag at no cost. If you are looking for a travel bag that is very comfortable and supports your back very well, I recommend this bag. This bag served me nicely on my 3 week venture in Asia.
