My purchasing experience was great! My wife and I were shopping the market for a new travel bag, so I bought this one and she bought two other brands. After they all arrived, we stuffed each one the the same clothes and walked around with them for a bit. All three fit the clothes, but the Tortuga had better storage/organization than the others. Also, the Tortuga was the most comfortable of the three. So we returned the other bags and went online to order one for my wife. We saw that there was a save 10 or 20% when you purchase two bags (I can't remember which). However, it had been almost a month since I originally ordered mine (the competitor bags took quite some time to ship). We contacted customer service and told them our situation. I received a refund for the savings amount that same day and the discount was applied to my wife's bag as well. We can't wait to use these on our two week trip in Italy! I've traveled throughout the USA and have had MANY different carry-on bags, most more expensive than the Tortuga. I love this backpack!! Easy to travel with, easy to buy. You guys understand your perspective customers better than you know. Stop searching and buy now!

I am thrilled to have found the Tortuga Backpack! I recently returned from spending 10 days in Iceland photographing the Aurora Borealis and all I had was the Tortuga Backpack and my camera bag. Getting in and out of airports and moving around the country was quick and easy having very little to lug around. The Tortuga is very well made, has convenient and logically placed pockets for all the essentials. I wish I had found it years earlier. Thank you Tortuga!

Perfect for weekend business travel.

48 yr old 185. Loved it. 9 days pleasure in Japan. Did laundry 2x. Didnt miss hop belt. 13 yr old carried new gr8 rei 40 l with internal frame -- I liked the Tortuga better for travel. Felt great to carry; organized so smartly. I plan to take for 2 nights business in nyc later this mo, though more room than i need.
