My purchasing experience was amazing. Between the videos and reviews I really felt prepared and believe I made the right choice. My trip to South Africa in August will be the true test.

The website made purchase easy and the products -- two backpacks, a day pack and two sets of cubes -- served well, durably and comfortably on a recent two-week tour of the Greek islands. One glitch: one set of cubes was short by one, quickly resolved by customer support at Tortuga. Good experience, in all.

We bought our Son a Tortuga Backpack as a graduation gift for his month long trip to Australia. All he took with him was what he could fit into the backpack. He said it was perfect. He loves traveling with it.

This is our second Tortuga and it's becoming a sign of adulthood for our adventuring kids. The first was purchased after a trek through China left our 18-yo frustrated with her luggage.
