this backpack holds so much. I did a month long trip, 3 weeks at a ranch in NE Oregon and a week in California. I was able to bring enough diversity of clothing for both areas and even add more clothing to the mix when shopping in santa monica.

My experience purchasing a travel backpack, rain cover and packing cubes went smoothly. Customer service was prompt in responding to my questions and the package arrived safely in a minimalist package. I've yet to use the item for travel but I feel confident that it will meet the demands of the trip.

I found Tortuga Backpack line through a travel blog. They raved about the backpack, so I decided to give it a try. I have used a REI backpack traveling in New Zealand, a duffle bag, and several rolling suitcases. By far, Tortuga Air is my favorite travel case. The backpack was purely amazing! Beyond expectations. 1) Everything was very easy to find 2) The smaller backpack made me pack lighter, which is always a blessing 3) I saved tons of money by not checking a bag 4) I love the easy access pockets 5) The shoulder straps are extremely comfortable. They have a lot of nice padding 6) The quality of the backpack feels at ease that it will last a very long time.

I bought a Tortuga backpack in preparation for several very different trips. I used it for a week in Belize, 10 days in Portland, OR., a trip to the Appalachian mountains, and a trip to the beach. The trips involved air travel, public commuter train travel, boat travel, and auto travel. At times I needed the pack to be "casual business," while at other times I needed to wear the pack for short hikes. Some days I carried the pack with me all day, while other days I left it in my hotel room. In every situation, the pack proved to be roomy, efficient, and just exactly what I needed for the occasion. Love this pack!

Loved my Tortuga backpack! Went to 3 countries in 2 weeks and never had to check a bag! I had plenty of room for my clothes. Using both straps properly my pack never felt heavy nor straining! I have back issues so I was worried. I highly recommend Tortuga!
