The Halifax jacket truly lives up to its name. As a former LEO operator, I have a closet full of like products, but this is my favorite. It's become my go-to at work when I need protection from the elements without sacrificing comfort. The soft and quiet fabric is a huge plus, and I'm impressed with how well it breathes – it really does feel like wearing a shirt in terms of breathability. The Durable Water Repellant (DWR) finish is a nice bonus; while it's not a rain jacket, it effectively sheds light moisture, and I appreciate how quickly it dries. Top-notch design. It packs down small, making it easy to throw in my bag, and the bungees at the bottom allow me to cinch it tight for extra protection. The longer tail in the back is a thoughtful touch, especially useful for range days and keeping the elements out. The sleek, large bicep pockets are perfect for stashing essentials. The fit is spot-on – "true to fit" is accurate; my usual If you're looking for a lightweight, versatile wind jacket, the Halifax is an excellent choice.
