As a vendor, we purchased

As a vendor, we purchased booth space and were very disappointed! The cost of the booth was VERY expensive and the traffic was practically non-existent. Our booth was located in a bad spot (back right corner), and we only had a handful of people come by, ones that were actually LOOKING for us. I.e. they knew us already. So, VERY little benefit and VERY high cost. The sessions that I saw were well done. The food options were also VERY disappointing. I have an allergy to gluten, and 90% of the snacks that you put out had gluten. On my first day, my "gluten-free" lunch was Vegan with hardly any protein. After that, I bought all of my own meals at other places for the rest of the event. During the breaks, most of the snacks provided were unhealthy (doughnuts, cakes, pretzels, etc) On a positive note, I did interact with lots of very smart people and enjoyed several of the presentations.

Concerns about representations about attendance

Based on the information that I have available to me at this point, I am concerned about the accuracy of the representations made to us about attendance of the event, leading up to the time of the conference. I'm waiting for feedback from Evan on this.

Not industry Specific Enough

Although there was some insightful information. A lot of it was repetitive. Would like to see much more industry specific information if I were to return. Seems more like a sales pitch for Software sales towards service companies. Would like to see more Service related Safety information in the future.

Well run event, bad booth placement

Overall I thought that the event was very well executed. There was a great attendee turnout and they seemed engaged in most of the sessions. It also seemed like the exhibition hall got good foot traffic. That said, our booth was in pretty much the worst location possible and got relatively zero traffic. Many people didn't show up to the scheduled meetings so we had a pretty poor experience. One thing that i've seen at other shows that is really great is when the event staff try to bring over key people to the booth. They will ask who we would like to meet with and try to find them and make the introduction.

The question I have is

The question I have is about selling or learning, I received a barrage of sales phone calls and emails leading up to the event that were a waist of time, I am busy and do not appreciate the time wasters
