It was nice to network with other professionals and get a feel for where we are. One thing that would be nice is to get into more in-depth conversations on "HOW things are being done with ioT" vs. "what is being done." Examples would include things like data lake and monetizing services. It would have been great to get more specific in some of these areas. We really liked Vertiv and thought what Aquant.io was doing was very interesting. I didn't hear a ton of specific examples for "we charge $X for this data driven service, and this is what that includes." I think that some of the speakers had this information, but perhaps couldn't share because of competition. Either way, lots of interesting stuff.

The structure of brief presentations from knowledgeable experts along with ample networking time is fantastic and I look forward to the meeting each year.
